Three Cane Carver Chairs - Restoration project

All three of these unusual carver chairs needed re-caning by hand to restore them. I carefully removed the old cane, then used new cane strips to weave in the traditional pattern. There are seven steps to the method to achieve the correct pattern and pegs were placed in the holes at the end to complete the work.
